| Annotation: | The approach proposed by the authors for building self-adaptive software systems is based on the joint use of two concepts: reflexive self-adaptation and observation of the information environment. The first concept involves the analysis of information circulating within the system and the identification of patterns in it. The restructuring of the program will be carried out in the process of implementation on the basis of the found patterns. The central idea of the second concept is the analysis of information entering the system from outside (for example, in the form of user reviews), and the subsequent restructuring of the system. The implementation of both concepts is based on the application of two technologies: technology of dynamic lines of software products used to build a universal behavioral structure of an adaptive software application, and data mining technology, which is used to implement the process of self-adaptation. | Annotation: | The process of biological wastewater treatment in a mixing aeration tank for the purpose of its intensification is studied. Two variants of intensification are consideredhydraulic partitioning of aeration volume of the mixing aeration tank and use of a vortex aerator. It is proposed a calculation method of partitioning of aeration volume of the mixing aeration tank, and it is shown that partitioning can increase its performance by 1.8 times and reduce power consumption of the aeration system. The new design of the vortex aerator is described, and it is shown that its use will significantly increase the efficiency of the tank aeration system and intensify the process of biological treatment due to the increased turbulence of the activated sludge flow. In this case, the quantity of oxygen utilization rate is =0.14-0.18, the relative concentration of organic contaminants is reduced to 0.20 at oxygen deficit 10% during the first aeration hour. |

| Annotation: | This article is the summary of the study of non-stationarity in virtualized systems. The article contains the classification of virtualization technologies (as well as cloud and virtualized systems) based on the analysis of the current state of the subject under study. The purpose of the article is to examine system models using queuing theory to evaluate these models. The other goal is to consider the possibility of predicting the impact of non-stationary processes on the performance characteristics of cloud systems, including systems with virtualization. In order to achieve this target, the author solves the problems of determining the non-stationarity of the input stream of user requests in real systems, synthesis and research of models for evaluating models of virtualized systems. The object of the study is queueing systems used as models of cloud systems and systems with virtualization. The subject of the article is non-stationary processes and functioning features of cloud and virtualized systems. In the course of the study the author considered methods of modeling computing systems in the aspect of resource virtualization. Experiments have been conducted. Test virtual servers have been created on the host platform. Dynamic characteristics are examined. The data obtained during the experiments are analyzed. Based on these data there are determined methods for building efficient computing systems with virtualization. Keeping in mind the unsteadiness of load processes will facilitate the design process of cloud and virtualized systems. The main results of this research are given in conclusion. © 2022 IEEE. |

| Annotation: | Analysis of public Internet data is a popular topic for socio-cultural researches. Study prospects of using personalized data led the scientists to the problem of constructing a social profile. It is structured set of information, which is able to uniquely characterize a particular person. The social profile building is carried out through the analysis of the filtered Internet open source data. Raw social profile data are subdivided on static and dynamic parts. Dynamic unstructured data includes text and multimedia information and cannot be handled by classical analytic means. The analytical task of social profile data is achieved through mathematical tools of the set theory, Big Data software and analytic tools for social media. Also, modern methods for analysis of the multimedia data are helpful. The techniques review for the analysis of multimedia content (graphics, sound) is offered. Analysis of multimedia resources is complicated by the variety of information processed types. The current work is devoted to combine existing experience by automating non-textual information processing in the task of a social profile building. Automated processing of multimedia information will improve the completeness and accuracy of the final social profile. In addition, the results of this work can be used to study the social phenomenon of viral media. |

| Annotation: | The article describes the use of the classic Lee algorithm (finding the shortest path) in the development of a gaming application in the Tower Defense game. Finding the shortest path is a task that arises in various spheres of human activity, and is very important. The shortest path will save time or other valuable resources, so algorithms are needed to find it. One of the algorithms designed to find the shortest path is the wave algorithm. The waveform algorithm gives a global solution, which means that this solution will be the best possible one. Due to the interactivity of computer games, they are increasingly used for learning, of course, not every game can be suitable for teaching any kind of skills and knowledge; in order for the game to become educational, it is necessary to think about how the game process could contribute to the study. Learning the wave algorithm through a game application makes the learning process more interesting and allows you to consider a lot of different examples. In addition, the application builds traces without errors, which will allow the user to check himself when constructing a route manually. Testing game situations showed all the boundary conditions of the algorithm. Examples of different game situations show many options for constructing the shortest path. |

| Annotation: | This work presents a metamaterial absorber designed for terahertz applications, featuring a dual-elliptical split-ring resonator geometry enclosed within a square frame. The structure is made on a polyimide substrate with metallic layers and exhibits six distinct absorption peaks at 3.45, 5.15, 7.01, 8.97, 10.50, and 10.89 terahertz, with corresponding absorptivity values of 94.2%, 94.2%, 98.06%, 99.45%, 85.87%, and 97.7%, respectively. At its lowest operating frequency, the proposed absorber is ultra-thin (0.068λ) and electrically compact (0.285λ), making it suitable for potential applications in stealth and sensing technologies. To improve multi-band absorption, machine learning models including Extra Tree, XGBoost, and an ensemble approach were employed for optimization. The ensemble model, is evaluated for enhancing absorber efficiency, with model performance validated through 10-fold cross-validation. Model accuracy was assessed using R-squared, Mean Absolute Error, and Root Mean Squared Error metrics. Ensemble approach was applied, with the ensemble achieving the highest R-squared value of 0.9944 for predicting the effects of geometric parameters. |
