Title:Electromagnetic Non-Polarized Symmetric Hybrid Wave Propagation in a Plane Waveguide with Nonlinear Anisotropic Permittivity
Author:Мартынова Валерия Юрьевна  Мартынова Валерия Юрьевна
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic copy
Annotation:Paper focuses on the propagation of monochromatic nonlinear symmetric hybrid waves in a planar dielectric waveguide filled with nonlinear anisotropic medium. The wave propagation problem is reduced to a transmission eigenvalue problem. Eigenvalues of the problem depend on an additional parameter and correspond to propagation constant. Using a perturbation method, it is theoretically proved the existence of a finite number of isolated eigenvalues and, therefore, guide waves. Numerical results are presented.

Title:Encapsulating all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots into mesoporous metal organic frameworks with significantly enhanced stability for optoelectronic applications
Author:Vladimir Dmitrievich   Mikhail Borisovich
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic copy
Annotation:CsPbX3 (X = Cl, Br, and I) perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) possess outstanding optical properties. However, the poor stability hinders the application of CsPbX3 PeQDs. Here we report a new strategy to enhance the stability of the PeQDs by embedding CsPbX3 PeQDs into the mesostructure zinc-based metal organic framework (MOF-5) crystals. First, the pore structure of MOF-5 crystals is expanded to mesopores by using templating agents cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene. And then, the CsPbX3/MOF-5 composites are obtained by the physical mixing of CsPbX3 PeQDs with the mesoporous MOF-5 crystals in solution. The mesoporous structured MOF-5 crystals worked as an excellent dispersion medium to endow CsPbX3 PeQDs with improved stability (thermal-stability, photo-stability and long-term stability) and the property against anion exchange. Using CsPbX3/MOF-5 composites, a warm white LED is obtained with the color temperature of 3607 K and a wide color gamut (124% of National Television Standards Committee). This study proposes a new strategy to improve the stability of PeQDs, which eliminates the obstacles to the applications of PeQDs.

Title:High-efficiency, polarization-insensitive 1400-lines/mm retroreflective metagrating with cascaded nano-optical modes
Author:
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic copy
Annotation:A retroreflective grating with a high line density is one of the most desirable optical elements, as it is capable of channeling the reflected light toward the source with high angular resolution. Metagratings can steer the incident light into the desired diffraction order with ultrahigh deflection angle and unitary efficiency. However, in practice, the diffraction efficiency of a metagrating with a small period is very sensitive to the unit cells, thus leading to significant challenges in the fabrication process. In this Letter, a kind of high-efficiency, polarization-insensitive retroreflective metagrating with cascaded nano-optical modes on high-reflection films is proposed. It is found that the conceptionmay increase the fabrication tolerance by a factor of more than two. A 1400-lines/mm metagrating is experimentally realized for the first time, to the best of our knowledge, which shows an excellent broadband diffraction spectrum with 96% efficiency over 50 nm in TE andTMpolarization. This proposed novel metagrating will benefit miniature optical systems.

Title:Influence effect of an external electric field and dissipative tunneling on intracenter optical transitions in quantum molecules with D-2 states
Author:Разумов Алексей Викторович  Vladimir Dmitrievich   Mikhail Borisovich
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic copy
Annotation:In the zero-range potential model and in the effective mass approximation, dispersion equations have been obtained, that describe dependence of the average binding energies of the quasistationary g- and u-states of the D2(-) - center in the QD, as well as the widths of energy levels on the magnitude of the external electric field and the parameters of 1D-dissipative tunneling. Dips in the field dependences of the binding energies average values for quasi-stationary g- and u-states have been revealed. It is shown that the field dependences of the energy level widths for the g- and u- states of the D2(-) -center have a resonance structure at the external electric field strengths corresponding to the dips in the field dependences of the average binding energies. In the dipole approximation, the field dependence of the probability of the electron radiative transition from a quasistationary u-state to a quasi-stationary g-state of the D2(-) -center in a QD in the presence of dissipative tunneling with the participation of two local phonon modes has been calculated. It was found that the curve of the radiative transition probability (RTP) dependence on the strength of the external electric field contains three peaks.

Title:Information Technique for Smooth and Non-Smooth Curves Modeling
Author:Косников Юрий Николаевич
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic edition
Annotation:A information-algorithmic method of spline interpolation of plane curved lines defined by a set of reference points (scattered data) is proposed. The method gives both smooth curves and curves with fractures. To obtain fractures, the reference points are supplemented with new reference points that affect the directions of the tangents to the curve portion. The coordinates of the additional reference points are from the condition of passing the curve sections through the intermediate reference points. A list information structure has been created to store the coordinates of the reference points. The logic of the algorithm working with it is described. The algorithm always bypasses the list by the same law, regardless of the presence or absence of fractures. The method differs from interpolation by Catmull-Rom splines in the possibility of obtaining fractures at the reference points. The difference from Bezier spline interpolation is that the method does not require tangents to the segments in the case of their smooth conjugation.

Title:Instrumental System of Temporal Analysis of Models of Concurrent Computing Systems Constructed Using Theory of Temporary Finite State Automata
Author:Синев Михаил Петрович  Коннов Николай Николаевич  Зинкин Сергей Александрович  Пучкова Ульяна Николаевна  Калашников Виталий Александрович  Мартышкин Алексей Иванович

Annotation:This article examines the issue of poorly studied methods of temporal analysis of cyberphysical systems, as well as simulations of concurrent computing cyberphysical systems with a time component. The article describes the currently relevant methods and means of temporal analysis of computing cyber systems, their advantages and disadvantages[1]. Often, in the process of developing a real mechanical cyber system, it is necessary to simulate it and simulate its work under certain conditions, in order to identify possible difficulties in the functioning of the mechanism, and to adjust them subsequently. Actual methods of temporal analysis of cyber systems do not fully solve the posed problem or do not solve it at all. In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a new method of temporal analysis was proposed that solves problems that other methods described in this article do not solve[2]. One of the advantages of the method proposed in this article is the modeling of non-deterministic time machines, so that this approach can be widely used in modeling cyber systems and simulating their work under a variety of conditions. As a test of the scientific solution of the problem described in this article, a software tool for temporal analysis and simulation of models of computing cyberphysical systems was developed and debugged. The main feature of the environment is the coding and building computing cyberphysical systems in the graph format of an abstract temporary finite deterministic or non-deterministic automaton using a system of canonical equations given in disjunctive normal form. The basic method of parsing the system of canonical equations for building a model of the target computing cyberphysical system in the graph format of an abstract automaton as well as simulation algorithms for the entire model in the mode of a deterministic and non-deterministic automaton are described. The user interface elements for managing the modeling environment, its main features and methods of temporal analysis of specified concurrent computing systems are described

Title:Integral Dispersion Equation Method in the Problem on Nonlinear Waves in a Circular Waveguide
Author:
Type:Article
Kind:Electronic copy
Annotation:We study TE-polarized electromagnetic waves propagating in an inhomogeneous dielectric waveguide of circular cross-section filled with a nonlinear medium where the nonlinearity is described by Kerr’s law. The existence of infinitely many nonlinear waves (surface as well as leaky) is proved. Sufficient conditions under which several waves can propagate are found, and the localization domains of the corresponding propagation constants are determined.
