Biography: born in 1955 (Borisov, Belarus),
He graduated from Tashkent State University,
Faculty of Physics, in 1979 with qualification of a physics teacher, with
pecialization in theoretical physics. From 1979 to 1983 he studied at the
correspondence postgraduate course at Tashkent State
University. On December
21, 1983, he defended his PhD thesis "On the theory of optical phenomena
in bulk semiconductors and dimensionally quantized systems with deep impurity
centers" in physical and mathematical sciences, specialty 01.04.10 -
physics of semiconductors and dielectrics. On May 25, 1994 he defended his
thesis for the Doctor of Sciences degree in Physics and Mathematics, specialty 01.04.10
on the topic "Acoustic-stimulated phenomena under the phonon excitations
relaxation in semiconductors" at the Physics and Technical Institute named after S.V.
Starodubtsev, Tashkent.
In 1999, he was awarded by the degree of Doctor in Physics and Mathematics
based on re-certification (Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, Moscow). In 2000 he was awarded by the
academic title of professor. And in 2009 - the title of "Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation".
V.D. Krevchik is the author of more than 500 scientific papers, of which 6 are
monographs in the field of semiconductor nanoelectronics. He is the founder and
leader of the scientific and pedagogical school "Physics of electronic
processes in low-dimensional systems." He prepared 26 candidates and 2
doctors of physical and mathematical sciences.
