Annotation: The theoretical foundations of the possibility of volumetric crystallization of a drop of a melt of hard alloys are considered. A mathematical model is proposed for the probabilistic estimation of the volume crystallization time of droplets of a solid alloy melt during centrifugal spraying. An example of calculating the interfacial transition time for the droplet size relevant for tool production.
