The discipline "History Sura land" refers to the variable part of section C1 of the discipline in the specialty 31.05.01 General Medicine.
The study of the discipline "History of Sura land" is based on students' knowledge of history in the volume of a secondary school. The main provisions of the discipline should be used later in the study of political science, philosophy, history of medicine and special disciplines.
The purpose of studying the discipline "History of Sura land" is to develop the following general cultural competencies of graduates:

In the course of studying the discipline “History of Sura land”, students acquire knowledge about the basic laws of the historical process, stages in the history of development of Russia and Sura land, the place and role of Sura land in the history of Russia; basic methods of self-development, self-education; the rules of oral and written speech, the principles of scientific analysis.
Based on the acquired knowledge, students become able to use their creative potential; present information in Russian and foreign languages, present information publicly.
Students develop the skills in self-realization, solving professional tasks.
The results of mastering the discipline are achieved by lecturing students; conducting practical exercises with them (case studies, discussion); using computer technologies and multimedia equipment in the course of training; organizing unsupervised extracurricular work of students and their preparation of written works (abstracts, scientific papers).
The teaching of the discipline “History of Sura land” is conducted during the 1st year (1st semester, lasting 17 weeks) and provides for the following forms of organization of the educational process: lectures, practical classes, unsupervised work of students.
The subject syllabus provides for the following types of assessment: current progress monitoring in the form of checkpoints and intermediate assessment in the form of pass-fail tests.
