Penza Regional Maternity Hospital under my management is a major medical institution having over 100 doctors and 262 paramedical specialists employed. We are a leading center in Volga region rendering obstetric and gynecological aid.

From the moment of its foundation, the Medical Institute of Penza State University has prepared over 2000 specialists, interns and clinical residents. The Institute completes an important task of high-qualified medical staffing. PSU’s graduates successfully work in clinical bases, develop and implement priority programs. They have won respect for the institute.

The staff of the Medical Institute consisting of teachers, Ph.D. and Doctor degree holders train specialists in higher education and residency programs in demand throughout the country. The Medical Institute’s personnel impose high requirements on graduates’ competencies and professionalism on the one hand, and moral qualities, social tolerance, and communicative abilities from the other.

The high quality of training in the Medical Institute of PSU is promoted by such factors as a high professional level of teachers (most of them are active medical practitioners with academic degrees), cutting edge equipment, particularly the Simulation Center. On the basis of the Simulation Center students and clinical residents master practical skills in medical aid rendering, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aid at injuries, obstetric and gynecological aid.
