D.Y. Zinovyev (Clinical Hospital No.6 named after G.A. Zakharyin)
Dear Alexander Dmitrievich,
Clinical Hospital No.6 named after G.A. Zakharyin under my management is a major medical institution having over 230 doctors and 700 paramedical specialists employed. We offer all types of medical aid to the citizens of Penza city and the region.
For 20 years, the Medical Institute of Penza State University has been successfully educating general practitioners and giving them the basic medical training, practical skills in medical activities organization, in diagnostics and treatment of internal diseases.
Having graduated from the Medical Institute, doctors of various specializations practicing in the inpatient setting are well-trained according to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard.
The Medical Institute’s graduates are distinguished by their competence, a persistently high level of knowledge, abilities, and skills, allowing to efficiently implement their work activities. The high quality of training in the Medical Institute of PSU is promoted by such factors as a high professional level of teachers (most of them are active medical practitioners with academic degrees), cutting edge equipment, particularly the Simulation Center. In the course of studying, much attention is paid to students’ practical training in leading medical institutions of the city. An important factor of specialist training is the formation of personal qualities allowing graduates to effectively work both with patients and colleagues.
In recent years, the capacities of high-qualified medical staffing have increased considerably due to PSU’s contribution by implementing a wide range of residency and postgraduate programs. It should be noted that the opportunities for continuous education for the General Medicine program graduates are especially vast.
The Medical Institute’s graduates constantly improve their professionalism, study at postgraduate programs, which are obligatory for improving their capabilities. They are committed to their duty and are constantly engaged in self-education.
Nowadays, there is evidenced a growth in satisfaction with the quality of medical services rendered, and a share of this merit belongs to doctors who graduated from the Medical Institute of Penza State University.
