Kartavov Nikita Aleksandrovich, was born on September 25, 1998, in Penza.

He enrolled at Penza State University to study biology in 2016. He graduated from a bachelor’s degree and enrolled a master’s program to study ecology at the same university in 2020. He has been a postgraduate student at the Department of Zoology and Ecology since 2022. Dissertation topic: "Dynamics of the structure of populations of colonial mammals with various ecological and genetic characteristics (using the example of the genus Spermophilus)."

Since 2023, he has been an employee of the scientific and educational laboratory of molecular ecology and animal taxonomy.

Since 2024, he has been an assistant at the Department of Zoology and Ecology.
