In 1978 graduated from the Red Army Kuban Medical Institute with a degree in General Medicine.

In 1979 completed an internship in Dermatovenereology.

In 2000 defended his PhD dissertation on "Clinical and laboratory work in assessing the effectiveness of 5% cycloferon liniment in the complex treatment of sexually transmitted infections."

In 2006 completed his initial retraining in Healthcare Organization.

From 2007 to August 2025 - worked in the Department of Microbiology, Epidemiology, and Infectious Diseases as an associate professor

Since September 2025 he has been acting head of the newly formed Department of Infectious Diseases.
