Ambulance surgery
- teaching students to recognize the leading clinical signs, symptoms and syndromes when examining an outpatient, when determining the severity of the pathological process,
- teaching students the most important methods of clinical, laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, which allow substantiating the tactics of conducting a patient with surgical pathology at the outpatient stage and choosing the most rational modern method of treatment depending on the nature of the development of the disease and its complications;
- training in the full scope of medical, rehabilitation and preventive measures among patients with various nosological forms of the disease at the outpatient stage; teaching students the choice of modern optimal medical treatment regimens for the most common surgical diseases on an outpatient basis;
- teaching students to choose the best laboratory and instrumental examination methods for surgical diseases and to compile an differential diagnosis algorithm on an outpatient basis;
The discipline "Outpatient surgery" refers to the variable part of block C1. Disciplines. Outpatient surgery is one of the varied disciplines, which is interconnected with the disciplines: Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Cytology, Biology, Normal Physiology, Pathophysiology, Clinical Pathophysiology, Biochemistry, Topographic Anatomy and Surgery,Pathological anatomy, clinical pathological anatomy, general surgery, radiation diagnostics, faculty surgery, hospital surgery, pediatric surgery. The main provisions of the discipline "Outpatient surgery" are necessary to study the fundamental and clinical disciplines: obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, urology, traumatology and orthopedics.
The process of studying the discipline is aimed at the formation of the following competencies:
- Willingness to collect and analyze patient complaints, his medical history, examination results, laboratory, instrumental, pathological and other studies in order to recognize the condition or establish the presence or absence of a disease (PC-5);
- Ability to determine the patient's main pathological conditions, symptoms, syndromes of diseases, nosological forms in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems (PC-6).
- Ability to determine management tactics for patients with various nosological forms (PC - 8).
- Willingness to manage and treat patients with various nosological forms on an outpatient basis and in an inpatient setting (PK-9)
During the study of the discipline "Outpatient surgery", students learn: the rules for collecting and analyzing patient complaints, his medical history, examination results,laboratory, instrumental and pathoanatomical, other studies in order to recognize the state or establish the fact of the presence or absence of a disease, the principles for identifying surgical patients with the main pathological conditions, symptoms, disease syndromes, nosological forms in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems. They adopt the principles of differential diagnosis of surgical diseases that occur in various forms, the algorithms for the management and treatment of surgical patients with various nosological forms on an outpatient basis and in an inpatient setting. Based on the acquired knowledge, the skills are formed to collect and analyze patient complaints, medical history, examination results, laboratory, instrumental, pathological and other studies in order to recognize the state or establish the presence or absence of a disease, to identify the main pathological conditions, symptoms in surgical patients, syndromes of diseases, nosological forms in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems. Assign treatment to patients with a surgical disease occurring in various forms, taking into account the differential diagnosis. The tactics of management and treatment of surgical patients with various nosological forms in outpatient and day hospital settings is determined. Skills are acquired: collect and analyze patient complaints, medical history, examination results, laboratory, instrumental, pathological and other studies in order to recognize the condition or establish the presence or absence of a disease, the skills to determine the main pathological conditions, symptoms, syndromes in surgical patients diseases, nosological forms in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Problems Related to Health, an algorithm for treating a patient with a surgical disease proceeding in various forms, taking into account the differential diagnostics performed, skills in managing surgical patients with various nosological forms on an outpatient basis and in an outpatient setting. Types of academic work: practical exercises, independent work. The study of the discipline ends with a classification.
