Purpose of the development of the discipline
The purpose of mastering of the discipline is to develop in medical students the system of knowledge about physical properties of matter and physical processes in biological objects, including the human body, as well as the development of the fundamental bases of mathematics and applied mathematical apparatus needed for studying other disciplines and to acquire professional medical CA-of quality; formation of professional competence: possession of basic knowledge of mathematical and natural Sciences to the extent necessary for use in professional activity of the basic laws of science, the developed approaches and results of the scientific analysis and modeling, theoretical and experimental studies.
Task of discipline is:
- the development of the students the methodological foundations of the discipline to solve problems of evidence-based medicine;
- the formation of students ' logical thinking, ability to post accurate statement of objectives and defining priorities when solving professional problems;
- acquisition by the students ability to analyze incoming information and de-provisioning of reliable conclusions on the basis of the obtained results;
- the study of physics and mathematics that reflect the basic principles of the running of and opportunities medical equipment used in diagnosis and treatment research Institute disease;
- the study of the elements of Biophysics: physical phenomena in biological systems physical properties of these systems, physic-chemical basis of life processes;
- teaching students mathematical methods in medicine for obtaining the required information, processing of results of observations and measurements, and estimates the degree of reliability of the received data;
- develop students ' ability to use the application packages computer programmers tailored to mathematical methods of processing of medico-biological and statistical information;
- Formation of skills of work with scientific and technical literature;
- Teaching safety when working with medical equipment, acting on the basis of a physical principle.
Place of discipline in the structure of the PLO VO: discipline C1.1.12 "Physics, mathematics" the necessity of the basic parts of mathematical, natural-science cycle disciplines C1 PLO VO for the training of specialists on direction ) 31.05.01 “General Medicine”. Discipline implemented by the Department of physics, Penza state University.
The total complexity of learning Z is 2 credits, 72 hours. The teaching discipline provides for the following forms of organization of educational process: practical training, independent work of the student.
The subject program provides the following types of control: current control performance in the form of a test survey completed on sections, intermediate control in the form of excretion of rating, the final control in the form of written exam.

The process of studying the discipline is directed to formation of the following competence graduate:
willing and able to analyze socially significant problems and processes, to use in practice methods of Humanities, natural Sciences, biomedical and clinical Sciences in various professional and social activities (HC1);
Graduate as a result of learning the discipline should possess the following professional competencies:
able and willing to reveal natural essence of problems arising in the professional activities
of doctor, use them for the solution of the corresponding physic-chemical and mathematical apparatus (PC2); able and ready to form a systematic approach to the analysis of medical information, drawing on a comprehensive evidence-based medicine, is based on finding solutions using theoretical knowledge and practical skills to improve professional activities, able and willing to explore scientific, medical and paramedical information, domestic and
foreign experience; able and willing to participate in the development of modern theoretical and experimental
methods of fundamental research to create promising new funds, of the organization of works on practical use and implementation of research results.

- Characteristics of the impact of physical factors on the organism;
